RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL entertained the crowd on Fran Drescher's New York Harbor cruise to kick off Gay Pride Week last Sunday, June 21st. A benefit for Cancer Schmancer, the floating party was held aboard the Hornblower Hybrid. Patti LuPone joined the festivities immediately following her matinee of SHOWS FOR DAYS along with other celebrity guests including Thomas Roberts, Patti Stanger, Jill Zarin, Peter Marc Jacobson, and Ann Hampton Callaway.

Liz Duffy Adams, whose play, 'The Reckless Ruthless Brutal Charge Of It, or The Train Play' is now on stage at convergence continuum is noted for being an American abstract writer. The word 'abstract' may be the key to confronting 'The Train Play.'

Broadway lovers (and haters) rejoice, because the funniest and bloodiest musical about what it takes to make a child a star is returning to Off-Broadway. RUTHLESS! is set to begin performances June 25th at St. Luke's Theatre in the heart of the Theater District, with the official Opening Night on Monday, July 13th. Book and lyrics are by Joel Paley and music by Marvin Laird. Joel Paley also directed the original production of RUTHLESS! as well as productions in L.A., South Beach and the record-breaking concert event starring Bernadette Peters. Greed and familial betrayal is at the darkly comic heart of The Little Foxes by Tony Award-winning playwright Lillian Hellman. Artistic Associate Henry Wishcamper directs the classic 1939 play about wealth's corrupting power-one of Hellman's most notable works, which was adapted into a 1941 film starring Bette Davis-centering on the Hubbard family's ruthless pursuit in the South's post-bellum economic slump. WAIT UNTIL DARK centers on a missing doll carried into the United States by photographer Sam Hendrix (Linden East) for a woman named Lisa he meets at a Canadian airport. When the doll goes missing in Sam and Susy's apartment, three ruthless thugs show up to try and find it, terrorizing Susy in the process. Many will remember the 1966 Broadway play starring Lee Remick and Robert Duvall, or the 1967 film starting Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin, But seeing it in an intimate 99 seat theater brings spine-tingling chills galore.

From the successful writing team that brought you Dearly Beloved, Christmas Belles, and The Dixie Swim Club, comes the Texas premiere of the newest, Jones Hope Wooten, Southern-fried comedy! Meet the Wilburn family of Mayhew, Arkansas, and spend an outrageously funny day at The Reel 'Em Inn--finest little fishing lodge in the Ozarks. Broadway luminaries once again enjoyed lunch and conversation with Peter LeDonne broadcasting live from Lillie's Victorian Establishment in the Theater district . This weeks guests joining Peter and Jamie deRoy were composers Marvin Laird and Joel Paley. Danny Whitman, BCEFA director of Communications & Development and Angelina Fiordellisi, Artistic Director of the Cherry Lane Theater were also joined Peter & Jamie. Laird and Paley are the creators of the hit musical 'Ruthless' which will be remounted as a benefit for Broadway Cares on September 5-22 at the Triad Theatre.

When four aspiring young authors sign up for a 10-session private class on fiction with an illustrious literary figure, they get a lot more than they bargained for. Leonard's ruthless and unorthodox teaching methods cause tensions to mount and egos to clash. Can they make it through? Find out when you see this bitingly funny show. On REVOLUTION's upcoming episode, titled 'Ghosts,' a final act of heroism by one of their own saves the lives of the Charlie and the gang, but the loss devastates everyone and they must carry on with heavy hearts but increased resolve. Miles (Billy Burke) sets out on a mission with Nora (Daniella Alonso) to recruit his former Militia comrade, Jim Hudson (Malik Yoba) and enlist his savage killing skills. Meanwhile, Rachel (ELIZABETH MITCHELL) looks for a power source and a way back into the heart of her daughter Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos). Rachel also attempts to elude the grip of Randall Flynn (Colm Feore), her ruthless former boss and ally of Monroe (David Lyons). 'Ghosts' airs April 1 at 10:00 p.m. on NBC.
