Inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow and directed by Thomas Kail, HAMILTON begins performances on Tuesday, January 20 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, February 22. Philips began developing dictation solutions in 1954 in Vienna, Austria. They created the first cassette-based dictation machine in 1958, starting off their road to innovation. 1966 marked a historical moment, when they developed the first ever Mini-Cassette. Since that time, more than 120 million Mini-Cassettes have been sold worldwide. In 1991, the first telephone dictation system was launched, called the Voice System 4000. This system rapidly became a standard in hospitals across the globe. In 1997 Philips launched the first version of the SpeechMike, the first PC navigated digital dictation microphone in the market.
