The mezzo-soprano, a lifelong Kansas City Royals fan, was selected after a fan started a social media campaign based around the hashtag #letjoycesing. PH.D. GRAD APPOINTED AS DIRECTOR OF NEW MASTER'S PROGRAM Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY recently appointed Rondalyn V. Whitney (Ph.D. in Global Health Education, Trident Class of '11) as the director and founding chair of a proposed master's-level occupational therapy program, as well as an associate professor of occupational therapy. Whitney is charged with establishing and launching the new program for the University. Previously, she served as an assistant professor and interim director of the occupational therapy doctoral program at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association Roster of Fellows, one of the highest honors in the field. (more...)

IF/THEN has just announced that it will have no performances January 27 - February 1 to accommodate Idina Menzel's rehearsal and travel schedule for her performance of The National Anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 1. Performances will resume on Tuesday, February 3. Ticket holders for performances January 27 - February 1 will be rescheduled into another performance. The musical will play its final performance on Sunday, March 22, following 29 previews and 401 performances. (more...)

Maddie Baillio, the 2014 winner of the Great American Songbook Academy will perform The National Anthem at the Dec. 14 Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
