This episode of Broadway Backwards looks back at the loss of one of the musical theatre's most dashing young stars, Daniel McDonald. We give you a look at him in the Kander and Ebb musical Steel Pier' We also dropped by New World Stages to meet the women of Doug Stone's off Broadway Tupperware comedy 'Sealed For Freshness', and for all the Stephanie J. When Trustus Co-Founder Jim Thigpen directed the first Trustus show Luv in 1985, he did not know what to expect for the future of the company. Twenty-seven years later, Trustus Theatre is not only still in existence, but has grown into an institution of professional and provocative entertainment in the Midlands. In his last season as Artistic Director, Thigpen wanted his 'Swan Song' to be the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning August: Osage County - a show that many theatre fans call one of the most breathtaking evenings they have experienced in the last 5 years. August: Osage County opens on the Trustus Main Stage at 8:00pm on Friday, October 21st.

STUCK by Jessica Goldberg will play its final show on Feb. 21 at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row.

The scarlett theatre/film project, Robert E. Schneider and Jack Thomas/Bulldog Theatrical will present STUCK by Jessica Goldberg at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row from February 11 - 21. Marshall Pailet (The 49 Project) will direct the 90-minute play starring Anthony Alessandro, Steven Hauck, Kate Kearney-Patch, Kate MacCluggage and Athena Masci.
