Adapted by Morpurgo and Emma Rice, who also directs, 946 is a Kneehigh production presented in association with Birmingham Repertory and Berkeley Repertory Theatres. Orion Ensemble Presents Third Concert, 3/12

On a program of 'Connections,' The Orion Ensemble, winner of the prestigious Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming, presents its third concert program of the season, which takes its name from a Robert Kritz work composed for Orion. Performances, which welcome back guest violist Stephen Boe, take place at First Baptist Church of Geneva March 12; the PianoForte Studios in downtown Chicago March 15; and the Music Institute of Chicago's Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston March 19. Special Concert Benefiting Derek Whitener To Be Held at Theatre Three

Theatre Three will host a special, one-night-only benefit concert to raise money to offset medical expenses for local theatre artist Derek Whitener. The concert will take place on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 7:30 PM on Theatre Three's Norma Young Arena Stage. Tickets are free, but a cash donation is suggested. All donations will go directly to Derek Whitener and his family to pay for medical expenses and loss of income. FST's MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET Breaks Ticket Sale Record

In addition to recognizing the talent of this year's 691 YoungArts Winners, the event honored jazz pianist Jason Moran (1993 Winner in Jazz) with the Arison Alumni Award, and choreographer Jessica Lang as the Arison Award Honoree for their vital contributions and commitment to the arts.
