The Shakespeare Theatre Presents Holiday A Holiday Classic For Its 2016 Season Finale

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey rings in the holiday season with a timeless production of A Child's Christmas in Wales, based on the classic story by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and adapted for the stage by Jeremy Brooks and Adrian Mitchell. The festive show is being revived for the first time since it last appeared on the STNJ stage in 2003, featuring Greg Jackson in the role of Dylan Thomas. Performances begin November 30 and run through January 1 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue in Madison. Tickets to this musical celebration can be purchased by calling the Box Office 973-408-5600 or online at ShakespeareNJ.org.   (more...)

WaterTower Theatre Managing Director Greg Patterson and Associate Artistic Director Kelsey Leigh Ervi today announced casting and creative team details for the Regional Premiere of Silent Sky, directed by Kelsey Leigh Ervi. A new play by Lauren Gunderson, Silent Sky will run January 20-February 12, 2017, in the Canterbury Family Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. Convergence Continuum to Present World Premiere of THE KNIFE IS MONEY, THE FORK IS LOVE

Convergence-continuum concludes its 2016 Season with the world premiere of Cleveland playwright Jonathan Wilhelm's noir comedy mystery thriller, THE KNIFE IS MONEY, THE FORK IS LOVE. It's 1932, and Tobias, a young man enamored with radio serials and pulp fiction, receives a puzzling package which leads him on a search for the members of a secret society. In the theater, meanwhile, a group of actors struggle to provide historical context and work with the audience to solve Tobias' Depression-era enigma. Confusion, and much comedy, ensues as both the characters and actors try to untangle this mysterious and thrilling tale for us. (more...)
