Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) and the entire Broadway community mourn the loss of Tony Award-winning writer Joe Masteroff, who passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at age 98. Roundabout will celebrate Masteroff's memory and longstanding history with the company by dimming the lights of the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street), Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street), and the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street) on Wednesday, October 17 at 5:45pm for one minute.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Joseph Masteroff, the Tony-winning librettist of the international musical classics, Cabaret and She Loves Me, died on September 28th 2018 at the Actors Fund Home in Engelwood, New Jersey. He was 98 years old.

Kronos Quartet/Kronos Performing Arts Association (KPAA) is proud to announce the fourth group of composers for Fifty for the Future: The Kronos Learning Repertoire. Launched in 2015, Kronos' Fifty for the Future is an exciting partnership with Carnegie Hall and others to create 50 new works - by 25 women and 25 men - expressly for the training of students and emerging professionals. Each year, ten composers are announced. Complete casting has been announced for the starry 70, Girls, 70 concert at Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club. 

As the Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical prepares to premiere in Perth and in advance of its Adelaide season, the already highly-acclaimed Australian Production has received further praise from the entertainment industry, receiving awards in the inaugural Ticketmaster "TM LEGENDS Awards" and a total of 12 "Green Room Awards" nominations, including "Best Musical Theatre Production".

Two-time Tony Award winner Helen Gallagher has joined the cast of the previously announced 70, Girls, 70 concert at FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club. Ms. Gallagher, who will serve as the evening's narrator, joins a starry cast of Broadway veterans in the 1971 Kander and Ebb-tuner, set for April 17th, 2017 at 7:00pm and 9:30pm. A portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit The Lillian Booth Actor's Home.
