Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is one of those timeless stories that has been told and retold in many different ways. Scrooge! The Musical is a stage musical with book, music, and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse. Its score and book are closely adapted from the music and screenplay of the 1970 musical film "Scrooge" starring Albert Finney. Bricusse was nominated for the Academy Award for the song score he wrote for the film, and most of those songs were carried over to the musical. Some favorites include, "Happiness," "Love While You Can," " The Minister's Cat," and "Thank You Very Much".

Produced by Stuart Oken, Roy Furman, Michael Leavitt and Five Cent Productions, by special arrangement with Elephant Eye Theatrical, THE ADDAMS FAMILY will open on Broadway Thursday, April 8, 2010 at a Nederlander theatre to be announced. Country music star, CMA Winner, ACM Winner and four-time Grammy Nominee Joe Nichols has been offered the role made famous by George Strait in the Broadway production of the hit movie, Pure Country. According to producer Randall L. Wreghitt, the musical is in the process of securing the remainder of its financing and casting, and plans to open in early 2010.
