The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher announced today that the acclaimed new American play by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice, directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Drama Desk Award-winner and Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), will open on Broadway this spring at a theatre to be announced. Based on The New York Times best selling Disney-Hyperion novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, Peter and the Starcatcher will be produced on Broadway by Nancy Nagel Gibbs and Greg Schaffert.

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The show was one of the Great White Way's biggest hit in 2010 and is coming here as part of the 2011-2012 Kravis On Broadway series.

Flanigen from Nashville was re-elected to a second term as Chair; recording artist Christine Albert from Texas was elected Vice Chair; engineer/producer Glenn Lorbecki from the Pacific Northwest continues for a second term as Secretary/Treasurer; and five-time GRAMMY® winner Jimmy Jam from Los Angeles was re-elected for a second term as Chair Emeritus.
