Gypsy returns to Broadway, starring Patti LuPone as 'Mama Rose,' reunited with co-stars Boyd Gaines (Herbie) and Laura Benanti (Louise). BC/EFA's Gypsy of the Year Celebrates Record

The 19th Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced a total of $3,927,000 had been raised by the over 64 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This beats the previous record of $3,420,000 set in 2004.
