The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall announces changes to the 2020-2021 season.

The Philly POPS has announced a dynamic new lineup for the 2021a?"2022 season, featuring eight exciting shows, including all-new programs and returning fan-favorite guest artists.

Many Broadway stars have taken their incredible talents off the stage and onto your TV screens. One channel that has welcomed Broadway talent is Hallmark! Stars like Kristin Chenoweth, Jeremy Jordan, Aaron Tveit, Anika Noni Rose, Nathan Lane, Patti Murin, Bernadette Peters, Beth Leavel and Lea Salonga have appeared in past fils.

Due to travel restrictions and the interactive nature of the show, The Choir of Man's Sarasota debut performance at the Van Wezel has been postponed to a future date in January 2022.

In response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus), here is an update of the shows that are newly cancelled or rescheduled.

In response to the Executive Order from North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper prohibiting mass gatherings of more than 100 people, DPAC has suspended all public events through April 12, 2020.

Norfolk & Norwich Festival has today announced the full programme for its 2020 Festival (8 - 24 May). The vast and wide-ranging programme across 17 days showcases artists from around the city and county, welcoming performers from across the globe exploring whilst Norfolk's local identity. Presenting a huge variety of events including theatre, music, visual arts, literature, circus, outdoor and free and family activities, this year the Festival includes two world, and eight UK premieres. 2020 sees a brand-new Adnams Main Stage alongside the much-loved Adnams Spiegeltent in Festival Gardens, the heart and hub of the Festival will be offering street food and pop-up bars, and the beginning of a three-year programme dedicated to celebrating the festival's incredible 250th birthday in 2022.

Beth Morrison Projects (BMP) and Trinity Church Wall Street (Trinity), together with PROTOTYPE: Opera|Theatre|Now, are pleased to announce a multiyear partnership in which BMP and Trinity will commission and produce five cutting-edge new opera-theater works for premiere at the PROTOTYPE Festival over three seasons (2021a?"2023). These comprise a new work by the Pulitzer Prize-winning composer-director team Du Yun and Michael McQuilken; two new works by librettist Royce Vavrek, paired with Mary Kouyoumdjian and Julian Wachner, respectively; a work by composer Ted Hearne with text by Halim Flowers and rap from Momolu Stewart; and a work by Paola Prestini with poet Brenda Shaughnessy.

With the full programme for 2020 set to be announced in February, Norfolk & Norwich Festival have today announced some of the first shows to go on sale for next year's Festival alongside a brand-new stage for the 2020 event and a new pop up box office at The Guildhall between 7 a?" 23 November. The 2020 Festival will once again take place over 17 days, this year from 8 a?" 24 May, with artists from around the world and the region presenting a huge variety of work and events throughout the city and around the county. Amongst the shows announced are a world-renowned singer, a live art programme on the streets of the city, award-winning circus, an outlandish pop music cabaret duo, a critical acclaimed play and three classical music events including concerts from the Norwich Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, Norfolk & Norwich Chamber Music and Festival regulars Britten Sinfonia.
