Celebrating the premiere of Blondel, multi award-winning composer Tim Rice is to take part in a special evening to talk about his life and career in the West End, on Broadway and Hollywood movies.

Excitement is building as it is now only two weeks until the smash-hit Broadway musical The Last Five Years opens at The Epstein Theatre from Thursday 15 - Saturday 17 June.

Producers have announced the cast for the world premiere of a spanking new version of the Tim Rice musical comedy Blondel.

The broadcast premiere of Young Artists of America: The Songs of Tim Rice, airs on Maryland Public Television (MPT) Thursday, June 1 at 8 p.m. Filmed recently at MPT's Owings Mills studios, the program features symphonic, dance, and vocal performances of lyricist Sir Tim Rice's musical theater and movie hits by the Bethesda-based group, (YAA). YAA consists of students from more than 80 schools in Maryland, northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. The one-hour television special includes the talents of some 150 area students, and is hosted by Sir Tim Rice.

The Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical 'Jersey Boys,' the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, opens May 18 at 8 p.m. at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre. 'Jersey Boys' previews May 16 and 17, and will continue through June 24, 2017.

The brand new musical Bandstand, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton) with music by Richard Oberacker and a book and lyrics by Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker, opens tonight, April 26, at The Bernard B. I am incredibly proud of all my kids and Ryan is pursuing his dream as a performer. He has been performing for quite awhile now as a professional and I have had the idea that this would be so since about his Junior year in High School. I have always taken the time to include my kids (when they have shown an interest) into the shows I was doing. Ryan and his older sister, Kaitlynn, were able to be more inundated with it at a young age as I was more active as a professional performer and they got to be backstage and at rehearsal, and often in shows with me. Whenever I was in a show that needed kids, I got them an audition and, since they were talented, often got cast, so we were able to share the stage. Sound of Music, South Pacific, Music Man, Secret Garden, A Christmas Carol, all shows that my kids been able to share with me.

THE BARDY BUNCH: The War of the Families Partridge and Brady, the musical parody by Stephen Garvey that gained cult status during its Off-Broadway run in 2014, is excited to announce casting for its limited engagement in Chicago, September 16 through November 27, at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. The show's all-star cast will portray the Brady and Partridge families, just after the ABC Network ceased airing their chronicles in 1974, in a blood-soaked, vengeance-fueled, lust-filled crossover episode of Shakespearean proportions.
