MATILDA Extends Through December 2013 in UK; New Block of Tickets On-Sale Tomorrow

At 11am tomorrow, 400,000 tickets will go on sale for 2013 for the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Matilda The Musical. The record-breaking production, now booking through until 22 December next year, continues to play to packed houses at London's Cambridge Theatre.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be holding an open call for the role of Matilda in New York City on Sunday, September 30th at Pearl Studios (519 Eighth Avenue, 12th Floor, between 35th and 36th streets). Check-in begins at 10:00 AM in Studio C on a first come / first serve basis. Auditions will begin at 11:00 AM.

Based on a real-life event, the drama about two of history's most famous artists-and one of history's most infamous statesmen-is written by Michael Kramer with D. S. Moynihan. Directed by Michael Wilson, Divine Rivalry runs now through August 5 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
