It has been announced that MTC's production of TO BE OR NOT TO BE will play its final performance on November 16th, 2008. November 16th, 2008 is the end of Manhattan Theater Club's subscription run. They had previously been offering tickets through November 23rd, 2008, but will now be canceling that week of performances. Patrons who have purchased tickets for performances through November 23rd, 2008 should return to their point of purchase for a refund.

American Conservatory Theater announced the casting today for David Mamet's brisk, cutting comedy on the movie business, Speed-the-Plow, directed by Loretta Greco. The cast features 2007 Drama Desk Award-nominee Andrew Polk, Matthew Del Negro ('The Sopranos'), and Jessi Campbell (A.C.T.'s Blackbird). Speed-the-Plow plays A.C.T. January 4 through February 3. Press night is Wednesday, January 9.
The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein, a new musical comedy from the creative team of the 12-time Tony Award winning smash The Producers, will open on Broadway November 8th 2007 at the Hilton Theatre (213 W 42nd St). Previews begin October 11th 2007. Following its staging of the UK premieres of musicals 'Tick, Tick Boom' in 2005 and 'The Last Five Years' in 2006, the Menier Chocolate Factory will go one better this summer by staging the World Premiere of the new Maltby and Shire musical, 'Take Flight' from July 25 to September 22 (previewing from July 13).
