Liz Cooper & The Stampede's anticipated debut full-length album, Window Flowers, is now streaming as part of NPR Music's “First Listen” series. Listen here. The 72nd Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 10th at 8/9c hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long awards season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. We can't help but wonder what chances this year's Best Musical and Best Play nominees have of taking home the ultimate prize...

Emerging Nashville-based band Liz Cooper & The Stampede will release their anticipated debut full-length album, Window Flowers, August 10 on the band's own label, Sleepyhead Records, via Thirty Tigers (pre-order). Producers announced today the first North American tour and full casting of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE. Performances will begin October 7, 2017 in Schenectady, New York at Proctors and the tour will have its official opening October 17, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland at The Hippodrome Theatre. Bernard Pomerance, the American playwright and poet who wrote the Tony Award winning play The Elephant Man, died at his home in Galisteo, New Mexico on the morning of Saturday, August 26, 2017.
