The New Group has announced today complete casting for David Rabe's Sticks and Bones, the production that launches the company's 20th Anniversary Season. This production will feature Richard Chamberlain, Nadia Gan, Morocco Omari, Ben Schnetzer, Raviv Ullman, and as previously announced, Holly Hunter and Bill Pullman. Scott Elliott directs. Previews begin October 2014. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through December 14, 2014. Opening Night date to be announced.

IN THE BOOM BOOM ROOM will preview today, July 4 at noon and will open on Saturday, July 5 and run through Sunday, August 3 at the Hudson Backstage, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

The New Group celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2014-2015 and has announced three productions for this milestone season: the first major New York revival of Sticks and Bones, the Tony Award-winning play by David Rabe, directed by Scott Elliott, and featuring Holly Hunter and Bill Pullman; the New York premiere of Rasheeda Speaking by Joel Drake Johnson, helmed by Cynthia Nixon in her directorial debut, and featuring Tonya Pinkins and Dianne Wiest; and the world premiere of The Spoils, a new play written by and featuring Jesse Eisenberg, directed by Scott Elliott. Special 20th Anniversary events at The New Group to be announced.

New City Stage Company presents the Philadelphia professional premiere of HURLYBURLY by David Rabe tonight. The show is staged by Barrymore Award winning director James J. Christy and features Russ Widdall of HBO's 'The Wire.' This award-winning play is the third professional production of New City Stage's 7th season, entitled 'The New American Dysfunctional Family'. This is the first time the show is receiving a professional production in the greater Philadelphia area. Performances begin tonight, February 28, and run throught through March 24, 2013 at the Adrienne Theater Main Stage at 2030 Sansom Street in downtown Philadelphia.

Beginning August 15th, The Harbor Stage Company launches the third and final chapter of its critically acclaimed inaugural season with David Rabe's tragic farce Sticks and Bones. The production marks the Cape Cod premiere of the much lauded, rarely produced play, a searing dark comedy whose Broadway production earned the 1972 Tony Award for Best Play. The New York Times calls the play "a poet's vision of the disaster of moral bankruptcy."

On Monday, November 22, Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer of Lincoln Center Theater (LCT) received the John Houseman Award for his work at Lincoln Center and as Joseph Papp's Associate Producer of The New York Shakespeare Festival (NYSF) at The Acting Company's Masquerade Gala. Tom Viola, Executive Director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), was also honored with the Joan Warburg Humanitarian Award for his leadership and advocacy in the fight against AIDS. Kelsey Grammer and Patti LuPone entertained as Angela Lansbury, Marian Seldes, Elizabeth Wilson, Campbell Scott, Dana Ivey, Shubert's Philip Smith and Robert Wankel, Jujamcyn's Paul Libin, Equity's Nick Wyman, The Actors Fund's Joe Benecasa and The Broadway League's Charlotte St. Martin and more joined the salute.
