The Town and the City Festival has just added a handful of new acts to its extensive lineup for the two-day music and arts festival in Lowell, Massachusetts on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th, 2019. In addition, Smokehouse Tavern has come onboard to host an evening of music. To keep track of the more than 50 acts at 10 different venues fans will be able to download The Town and the City Festival app. Available for the iPhone and Android, the app will allow fans to view the updated schedule and find information about the performers and the venues.

The International Contemporary Ensemble announces six composers chosen to be the first ICEcommons Artists-in-Residence: Helga Arias, Kate Gentile, Murat olak, Ylva Lund Bergner, Fernanda Navarro, and Bergr n Sn bj rnsd ttir. Represented by a diversity of backgrounds and musical styles, the cohort was selected by a panel of ICE musicians and outside experts who, over the course of six weeks, became familiar with more than 700 composers who submitted their creative work for consideration via a new call for scores on the ICEcommons web portal.

Si intitolava Dopo di me il diluvio, scritto da David Forrest. La Fiastri ne parlo con entusiasmo a Garinei e Giovannini e insieme coinvolsero il Maestro Trovajoli.
