The Follett Family & Follett LLC presents the State Theatre 90 Years of WOW Gala on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the historic StateTheatre Center for the Arts, Easton, PA. Andy Daub, former State Theatre Board President and founder of the Friends of the State Theatre, which worked to save the theatre from demise in the 1980's, and his wife Carolyn will be Honorary Chairs of the event.

The 5th Avenue Theatre embarks on an exciting renovation called The Next Stage Campaign: a multi-phase plan to update, refresh and re-energize Seattle's home for musical theater. Beginning this summer, the historic 5th Avenue Theatre will undergo its first significant renovation since 1980. Excited high school students, educators and supportive friends and family members packed McCaw Hall to celebrate The 14th Annual 5th Avenue Awards Honoring High School Musical Theater. The highly anticipated event, directed by Kat Ramsburg, handed out awards in 21 categories ranging from Outstanding Overall Musical Production to Outstanding Lobby Display. The crowd eagerly cheered for Washington's finest teenage performers as awards were accepted, local celebrity presenters spoke and nominated students performed musical excerpts from their acclaimed shows. This Tony Awards style program hosted by The 5th Avenue Theatre is proudly sponsored by Wells Fargo with additional support from Alaska Airlines and The Boeing Company.

The New York Philharmonic will present Rachmaninoff: A Philharmonic Festival, tonight, November 10-28, 2015, featuring 24-year-old Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov performing three of the composer's piano concertos and the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini over the course of three consecutive all-Rachmaninoff programs, each led by a different conductor: Cristian Macelaru (in his Philharmonic debut), Neeme Jarvi, and Ludovic Morlot.

The Ogunquit Playhouse lost a dear friend when Henry J. Weller, Jr. passed away on June 25, 2014. Mr. Weller was the General Manager of the Ogunquit Playhouse from 1950 to 1997, and worked in partnership with John Lane from the beginning when John first purchased the theatre in 1950, during the heyday of the Summer Stock Circuit and the establishment of the Council of Summer Theatres (COST) that John Lane initiated.

April 26, 2014 marks the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare's birth. In honor of this milestone in world culture, Houston Ballet will present dance interpretations of great Shakespearean works by choreographers from three continents: a lavish new production of Romeo and Juliet by Stanton Welch; the company premiere of John Neumeier's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and a revival of John Cranko's The Taming of the Shrew.
