Transport Group, the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and 2007 and 2010 OBIE Awards, has announced that Titus Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Guys & Dolls), Chuck Cooper (Tony winner for The Life), and Alexander Gemignani (Sweeney Todd, Assassins) have joined the cast of the one-night-only event Boys Night Out: An Evening With…Michael John LaChiusa, which will take place on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 7pm at the Mainstage Theater at Playwrights Horizons, 416 West 42nd Street.

Following the much acclaimed west coast premiere production of Parasite Drag by Mark Roberts, the Elephant Theatre Company concludes its 14th season with the west coast premiere of The Little Flower of East Orange by Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by Elephant artistic director David Fofi. Performances begin Thursday, November 4, and opening night is set for Saturday, November 6. The Little Flower of East Orange will play a strictly limited engagement through December 19.

The New York Philharmonic will present Stephen Sondheim's groundbreaking Company, with an all-star cast led by Neil Patrick Harris, star of the hit television series, How I Met Your Mother, on April 7-9, 2011. The award-winning musical will be produced and directed by Lonny Price, who directed and co-produced last season's SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert!, and will be conducted by Sondheim specialist Paul Gemignani, with the original orchestrations for a 35-piece orchestra by Jonathan Tunick. Ottmar Liebert returns to the RRazz Room for a series of solo guitar performances. Liebert's incredible global success on a musical level often seems like a simple outgrowth of his cultural background and powerful wanderlust in his formative years. Born in Cologne, Germany to a Chinese-German father and Hungarian mother, he began playing guitar at 11, and traveled extensively through Europe and Asia intent on fully absorbing each musical tradition he encountered. After pursuing his Rock and Roll dreams, first in his native Germany and then in Boston, he abandoned the frustrations of the East coast and settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

In a beauty parlor in small-town Chinquapin, Louisiana, six very different women come together to share their secrets and bare their souls, throwing in a little neighborly gossip for good measure. THE MORNING AFTER / THE NIGHT BEFORE will begin performances on August 18 - 28 at NYC's Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher St).

TheatreWorks, the nationally-acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, continues its commitment to the creation and development of new works with the 2010 New Works Festival, sponsored by Microsoft. The ninth annual Festival, August 8-22 at TheatreWorks at Lucie Stern Theatre, features fifteen days of new works unveiled to the public, including new musicals, new plays, a cabaret concert, and a panel discussion. This year's festival will feature a developmental production of the funny and inspirational musical FLY BY NIGHT from Kim Rosenstock, Will Connolly, and Michael Mitnick. Lead producer Michael Cohl today announced the complete cast for SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, which begins rehearsals this morning. Directed by Julie Taymor and featuring a book by Julie Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark will begin previews at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) on November 14, with opening night set for December 21.

Beginning August 13, Artists Repertory Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company will bring a world-class production of EuGene O'Neill's gut-wrenching autobiographical play Long Day's Journey Into Night to Portland. So close to his own life, Long Day's Journey Into Night is a story O'Neill did not want shared until 25 years after his death.
