The renowned Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA) pulls out the stops with two matinee and one evening performance of its annual holiday musical extravaganza - featuring guest appearances by country music legend LeAnn Rimes and Broadway star Sheryl Lee Ralph, and led by guest conductor Tim Seelig, in his GMCLA debut - Saturday, December 18, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday, December 19, 2010, 3 p.m., at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. Some 150 choristers, resplendent in holiday finery, do Santa proud with a bundle of beloved seasonal works, and dazzling Twelve Days of Christmas 'Black-Light Puppet Spectacular.' A team of merry elves adds to the musical festivities, which kick off the choir's 2010-11 Season, its 32nd.

Make no mistake about it: everybody in Tennessee loves Dolly Parton! She's a Volunteer State treasure, a role model for people all over the world and an example of what hard work and a whole lotta heart can achieve. Hell, if Dolly (in Tennessee, no other modifier is needed to identify our favorite daughter) ran for office, she'd be a shoo-in! And it's clear - judging from audience reactions during the national touring company's Nashville kick-off at Tennessee Performing Arts Center - that Tennesseans love 'em some 9 to 5: The Musical, the retooled, refashioned and re-imagined theatrical piece based on the 1980 film in which Dolly made her own screen debut.

Lynch Theatre at John Jay College in New York City. The concert will be directed and choreographed by Denis Jones and musical directed by Steve Freeman. Additional casting details are forthcoming.

WONDERLAND: A New Alice. A New Musical Adventure will open on Broadway Sunday, April 17, 2011 and performances will begin Monday, March 21, at a Nederlander theatre to be announced. The musical will be directed by Gregory Boyd, the artistic director of the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas, with a book by Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy (The Civil War -Tony nomination) and lyrics by Jack Murphy, music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde - Grammy nomination, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Civil War - Tony nomination, Dracula, Victor/Victoria) and choreography by Marguerite Derricks (Fame, Emmy Awards for '3rd Rock From The Sun' and 'Fame LA'). WONDERLAND: A New Alice. A New Musical Adventure will play a pre-Broadway engagement at the Ferguson Hall at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts (Judy Lisi, President and CEO) in Tampa, Florida January 4 through January 16, 2011.
