The production will run June 6th through 19th at the Opera Theatre and will feature conductor Stephen Lord. NIGHT MUSIC was written by Hugh Wheeler and features a score by Stephen Sondheim.

As previously reported, a remake of the classic 'A Star is Born,' is moving along in the development process at Warner Bros. Pictures after years of treading water. The most recent rendition, released in 1976 stared Barbra Streisand, Kris Kristofferson and Gary Busey. Previous incarnations have starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March (1937), and Judy Garland and James Mason (1954).

Producer Ken Davenport tells Variety today that he's secured the rights and is aiming to bring Godspell back to Broadway during the 2010-2011 season. The last attempt to bring back to the show, in fall of 2008 with different producers failed to secure needed funding and fell through.
