The Tragedy of King Richard the Second marks the Almeida's first National Theatre Live, broadcasting to audiences around the world on 15 January. We spoke to actor Leo Bill and caught up with Camera Director Tony Grech-Smith, to find out how those onstage and those behind the scenes (and screens) prepare.

Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director), a Times Square based non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, has announced the complete cast for the workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II as well as the the World Premiere of Anne of Green Gables: Part I. Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In the Heights) will be portraying Anne in a workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II (January 31 - February 10). She is joined by dancers Mindy Lai (LCT: The King and I) and Erica Misilo. Joining the previously-announced Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) in Anne of Green Gables: Part I are dancers Brooke Averi, Nichole Forde, Hannah Hall, Kara Menendez, Stephanie Young, and understudy Juna Shai.

The Green Room 42 brings New Generation Theater Company's 'Louder Than Words' to New York City for a one night only engagement. 'Louder Than Words', is a musical tribute to one of Broadway's most celebrated composers, Jonathan Larson. The performance will play Saturday, January 19th at 7:00pm at The Green Room 42. The night will feature musical numbers from both 'Rent' and 'tick.. tick... BOOM' including 30/90, One Song Glory, Johnny Can't Decide, Out Tonight, Louder Than Words and more!

On The Spot, an 'always new' musical comedy show, returns Sunday January 6th, 2019 at THE GREEN ROOM 42 at 7PM. Running Off-Broadway every week since 2015, the show is thrilled to be back at New York's most exciting new performance destination, for a special fundraiser show for the ACLU.

Ruston Kelly will continue his extensive headline tour in 2019 with stops at Dallas' Cambridge Room, Houston's Bronze Peacock, Austin's Antone's, Indianapolis' Hi-Fi and Nashville's The Basement East among several others. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 9 at 10:00am local time. The newly confirmed dates follow Kelly's fall headline tour, which includes upcoming performances at Los Angeles' The Hotel Café (two nights, both sold out), Seattle's Sunset Tavern (sold out) and Denver's Globe Hall among others. The Public Theater announced the full line-up today for the 15th annualUNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 3-13, 2019. This popular and highly-anticipated festival of The Public's winter season will include artists from across the U.S. and around the world, including Argentina, Australia, France, Lebanon, Nigeria, Norway, Palestine, and the UK. Curated by UTR Festival Director Mark Russell, this year's UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL continues to expand to venues throughout New York City in addition to The Public Theater's home at Astor Place.
