Today, with the announcement of its annual awards, the Outer Critics Circle recognized two shows developed at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Carrie Fisher won the award for Outstanding Solo Performance with Wishful Drinking, and Kevin Adams of American Idiot was honored for Outstanding Lighting Design. Jubilee Theatre continues the 2009-2010 season, the company's 29th, with One Mo' Time - An Evening at the Lyric 1926, a rousing musical with music that celebrates Black vaudeville of the 1920s. Jubilee's production is directed by Tyrone King with musical direction by Joe Rogers. The original production of One Mo' Time played for over three years at the Village Gate Off-Broadway in 1979 before it was brought back to acclaim in the 2002 Broadway season.
