There’s more to this classic tale than sewing mice and magical pumpkins. Ballet Memphis will reprise Steven McMahon’s interpretation of the Charles Perrault fairy tale as the season’s last mainstage show. The company debuted the work–featuring the famous score by Sergei Prokofiev as well as sets from the London City Ballet –during the 2008-09 season.
Opera Orlando returns to the intimate setting of the Alexis and Jim Pugh Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for part of their 2018-2019 season. Three productions comprise The Opera on the Main Stage series as the company presents its third season of fully staged operas.
