The Age of Iron is an epic retelling of the Trojan War, drawn from the works of two of the most dynamic Elizabethan playwrights, which takes us from the rape of Helen to the sack of Troy. At the center is Shakespeare's majestic Troilus & Cressida, a play that, in the wake of our own turbulent 20th century, has emerged as Shakespeare's most modern masterpiece. This remarkable work is bookended by Thomas Heywood's Iron Age, expanding the play's reach to encompass the full breadth of the Trojan War. Taken together, these two authors create a grand Elizabethan Iliad that brings Homer's long lost world vividly to life. The Age of Iron is adapted and directed by Brian Kulick.

Created by Suli Holum (co-creator, performer) and Deborah Stein (co-creator, writer), Chimera is a multimedia theatrical work integrating sophisticated video into a dramatic story. This production plays January 5 - 28 in the Dorothy B. Williams Theatre at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue) as a featured presentation within HERE's 2011-12 Season. The Winter Play Season at [Inside] the Ford kicks off with Lonnie Carter's OBIE award-winning The Romance of Magno Rubio in English - plus the world premiere of Ang Romansa ni Magno Rubio, a new translation into Tagalog. PAE Live! presents five performances each week, three in English and two in Tagalog, with both versions directed by translator Bernardo Bernardo. The Romance of Magno Rubio opens on November 4, and Ang Romansa ni Magno Rubio follows on November 5.
This holiday season, America's #1 Christmas movie comes to life on stage as a hilarious holiday musical. A Christmas Story, The Musical! features a bright holiday score by composer/lyricist team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and a book by Joseph Robinette based on the writings of radio humorist Jean Shepherd and the 1983 holiday film favorite. Acclaimed director/choreographer Warren Carlyle (Broadway's Finian's Rainbow, Follies at The Kennedy Center, An Evening With Hugh Jackman) will helm the production. Peter Billingsley, who starred as Ralphie in the original 1983 film, serves as a producer for the holiday tour.
