Playwrights' Theatre will present "To the Naked Eye", a World Premiere play by Seattle playwright James Lyle. Directed by Zachariah Robinson, the production will play June 6th - 28th, 2014.

To the Naked Eye dares to bare all with six comedic vignettes that paint the canvas of our multifaceted perception around the meaning of nakedness. Beauty, innocence, and purity, or corruption, perversion and scandal? This poignant and funny evening ultimately strips away our preconceived notions and reveals three simple truths: Naked people are funny! Naked people are beautiful! Naked people are people!

Featuring: Corinna Wright, Greg LoProto, Ian McIntire, Rebecca Parker O'Neil, Kristina Winch, and Peter Li.

The creative team includes: Director Zachariah Robinson; Stage Manager Chelsea Wischerth; Set Designer Suzi Tucker; Lighting Designer Gwyn Skone; Sound Designer John Epperson; Costume Designer Savannah Baltazar; and Poster Design by Luke Walker.

Performances run June 6th - 28th, playing Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at 8pm. Monday the 16th is a PWYC Industry night. Tickets range from $20 - $25. Thursday night performances are Clothing Optional for the audience - The more clothes you remove, the greater the discount on your ticket.
