World Premiere of APOCALYPSE, PLEASE Set for PianoFight This March

In association with PianoFight and as a project member of Intersection for the Arts, the Stable Production Company will present the world premiere of APOCALYPSE, PLEASE, a science fiction play by Noelle Viñas and Kevin Vincenti.

After a three-year-long development process with Emerson College, the Inkwell Theatre, and collaborating artists, APOCALYPSE, PLEASE will be premiering at PianoFight (144 Taylor Street), San Francisco's only full restaurant/bar with two theatrical stages.

Opening/press night on Friday, March 10. Shows are at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday through April 1. Tickets are available now at pianofight.com for $25-$28, with discounts available for groups of 6 or more. Tickets will be available at the door for $30.

APOCALYPSE, PLEASE is a science fiction play that follows Remy, a computer programmer at MIT's corporate lab, as she is framed for the deaths of millions of U.S. citizens because of her work with futuristic cell phones. In a world where privilege, diversity, and corporate intent collide, cyborgs, ambitious co-workers, and even King Arthur join the audience in quest to discover the truth.

After completing her degree at Emerson College in Playwriting and Acting, Noelle Viñas relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to team up with Kevin Vincenti, business person and emerging writer, to continue the development of APOCALYPSE, PLEASE. Sourcing from the Bay Area's rich tech industry, Vinas has worked directly with employees of some of the biggest tech companies in the world to accurately reflect the future of mobile technology.

The cast and creative team include an intersection of Bay Area artists and tech employees. Filling the lead roles are Amitis Rossoukh and Brian Kennedy. In supporting roles are Nkechi Emeruwa, Nicole Odell, Jake Arky, Madison Genovese, Kevin Glass, Feras Khagani. The innovative design team features set designer Randy Wong-Westbrooke, costume designer Belgica Rodriguez, lighting design by Kirt Siders, sound design by Evan Wardell, and video design by Colin Johnson. Stage Managing the play is Jenna Apollonia.

APOCALYPSE, PLEASE is a Member of Intersection for the Arts. Intersection provides resources, community and cultural space in order to contribute to the sustainable practices of artists and arts organizations the San Francisco Bay Area. PIANOFIGHT is a full service restaurant and bar with a cabaret stage and two intimate theaters. We present New Work by New Artists, most of which is local. Shows run the gamut from world premiere plays to inventive sketch comedy, choose-your-own-ending plays to audience-judged theater competitions, improv to variety shows, dance, live podcasts, film screenings and more. Plus we usually have a live band playing on our cabaret stage before and after shows.
