San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus to Present DAZZLE: BROADWAY...OUR WAY!, 6/25-27

In celebration of Gay Pride month, San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC) Artistic Director, Dr. Timothy Seelig announced today the final concert of the 2013/14 season, DAZZLE: Broadway...Our Way! on Wednesday, June 25; Thursday, June 26; and Friday, June 27, 2014 at 8 p.m. at Nourse Theatre (275 Hayes Street, San Francisco).

Featuring unforgettable renditions of songs from current and classic Broadway shows, including Phantom of the Opera, South Pacific, Kinky Boots, The Book of Mormon and more, the musical extravaganza will feature surprises and twists on old favorites. Laura Benanti, award-winning star of stage and screen (Tony Award winner for Gypsy, Most Happy Fella, Showtime's "Nurse Jackie", CBS's "The Good Wife" and NBC's "The Sound of Music Live!") who wowed audiences with her 2013 performance in SFGMC's I Am Harvey Milk, returns to San Francisco to share the stage with the men of the chorus.

Tickets for DAZZLE range in price from $25 - $60 and are available now by visiting www.SFGMC.org or by calling City Box Office at 415.392.4400.

"With 250 men, over 25 musicals and one mega-watt Broadway star, we are proud to present an unforgettable night celebrating the music of Broadway in a performance that will make you laugh, and cry - and is most definitely shorter than Cats," says Seelig.

Special guest star Laura Benanti will bring her own unique blend of comedy and musicality as she performs alongside the men of the chorus as they take center-stage in a magical night that will encompass the glitz, glamour and gayness of Broadway. Complete with bright lights, themed costumes and a full band, the Nourse Theatre will transform into Great White Way for three performances only!
