The Richmond Ermet AIDS Foundation is pleased to announce it will expand its giving parameters for the community. While REAF will continue to focus on supporting the fight against AIDS until there is cure, it is pleased to announce that it will expand its giving to include community programs targeting hunger and disenfranchised youth. The foundation will now be known as The Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation.

Capitalizing on their 20 year history of successful fundraising through quality events, REAF's board members feel that they can also make a difference by supporting programs that provide food for the needy and programs that support homeless, disadvantaged and disenfranchised youth.

REAF's founders, the late Barbara Richmond and Peggy Ermet, envisioned a world without AIDS when they inspired the foundation. Their goal was to help others in need in the community. REAF will continue it's AIDS mission with an immediate focus of "zero new AIDS infections" in the Bay Area, while it expands its support to other Bay Area residents in need.

The annual HELP IS ON THE WAY XXI: Hollywood Glam is scheduled for Sun., July 26, 2015 at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater. This event will benefit The San Francisco AIDS Foundation's Campaign for Health and Wellness and expanding their treatment and testing services within their new facility on Castro St. as well as Meals on Wheels to provide home delivered meals to seniors and other home-bound individuals with no other sources of food.

"Help is on the Way" is one of Northern California's largest annual benefit concerts and galas and is comprised of a celebrity-driven, variety-style concert, a pre-concert gala reception and silent auction and a post-concert dessert reception with the cast. HELP IS ON THE WAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS XIV is scheduled for Mon., December 7, 2015 at the Marines' Memorial Theater and will benefit Larkin Street Youth Services to provide a full range of services to homeless and disadvantaged youth as well as Aguilas to provide HIV outreach and prevention services to Latino youth in the Bay Area. Help is on the Way for the Holidays is a holiday-themed benefit, similar to Help is on the Way in structure and consists of a pre-concert silent auction and a post-concert dessert party with the cast in addition to the holiday-themed concert.

REAF also produces other events throughout the year as time and schedule permit including their One Night Only benefit cabaret series of benefit shows with touring Broadway shows appearing in the Bay Area. REAF's next One Night Only benefit cabaret is scheduled for May 18, 2015 with the touring cast of Book of Mormon at the Marines' Memorial Theater.

REAF has also launched a new website at www.reaf.org.
