K.S. Haddock will present HITLER IN THE GREEN ROOM, a wickedly inappropriate musical comedy about four bumbling Nazis and a drag queen, as part of the 26th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival, September 8 through 23, 2017. Hitler in the Green Room will be presented September 8, 13, 17 and 22 on the Exit Theatre's main stage. Tickets are $10 (at the door, cash only), or get advanced ticket sales available through the Fringe website: sffringe.org.

Show synopsis. It's the night before the big 1933 Nuremberg Rally and Hitler gets deathly ill. But the show must go on! Ernie, Rudy, Leni and Joe conspire to prop up a Hitler-impersonator to take the Fuhrer's place, but at such short notice, their only choice is a gay, Jewish cabaret singer. Comedy ensues.

Hitler in the Green Room stars local actors, Christopher Callahan (Ernie), Jenny Rand (Leni), Peter Sroka (Joe), and Rey Zegri (Rudy). Crooked Family (Mark Ungar, Deirdre McCarthy, Liz Baker) provides musical accompaniment.

This is K.S. Haddock's third SF Fringe Festival. He won Best Musical in 2009 for his musical adaptation of Sartre's No Exit, entitled Hell, the Musical. In 2006, Haddock earned a Best Musical Script for his original, Thanatics, a Rock Opera. In the '90s, Haddock published the Gen-X novel, The Patricidal Bedside Companion (St. Martin's Press, 1994).

The 2017 San Francisco Fringe Festival runs September 8 through 23, with performances all days except Mondays, and brings 30 unique productions to San Francisco's EXIT Theatreplex located at 156 Eddy Street in the Tenderloin.
