Esquire Network Hosts SIP & SHAVE in San Francisco This Weekend
NBCUniversal's Esquire Network today announced its upcoming 'Sip & Shave' event activation at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, taking place this weekend, August 8-10, 2014. The 'Sip & Shave' will offer festival attendees complimentary shave sessions, specialty cocktails and exclusive access to meet Esquire Network's Jay Larson and Sean Patton from BEST BARS IN AMERICA, and chefs Naomi Pomeroy and Kris Morningstar from KNIFE FIGHT.
Unlike other festivals where music is the singular focus, Outside Lands showcases a variety of interactive art installations and celebrates local food and drink vendors - a perfect complement to the lifestyle and entertainment programming of Esquire Network (http://esquiretv.com). Located near the festival's main stage, The 'Sip & Shave' station will allow attendees to enjoy the music, the cocktails and the shave simultaneously. Charging stations and lounge seating will also be available.
"Embodying the genres Esquire Network's programming celebrates, Outside Lands is the perfect balance of music, cocktails and cuisine," said Deena Stern, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Digital for Esquire Network. "Our audience enjoys spending time and sharing experiences with friends. This intimate activation provides the perfect opportunity to sample the Esquire Network brand while connecting with our young, curious and sophisticated audience."
While 'Sip & Shave' is the network's first activation at a music festival, Esquire Network has participated in other notable events throughout the nation. Whether it's having a presence at the Abbot Kinney Festival (Venice, CA), an event that celebrates a variety of eclectic boutiques and unique art galleries, Taste Talks (NY), which features culinary symposiums, workshops and discussions, or collaborating with its strategic Partners at Esquire magazine for a men's shopping bazaar in SoHo (NY), Esquire Network seeks opportunities to bring its content off traditional and social media screens to truly connect with its audience.
