Cinnabar Theater pays tribute to Tom Lehrer in "Tomfoolery," a cabaret style, musical revue featuring the witty, wicked, offbeat and thoroughly twisted world of the famed satirical songwriter who delighted millions of fans during the 1950’s and 60’s with his cynical but good-humored attacks on everything from the A-bomb to pollution.

Nothing is sacred in this fun musical tribute featuring Lehrer classics including “Poisoning Pigeons In The Park,” “The Masochism Tango,” “The Vatican Rag” and an unforgettable Gilbert and Sullivan-esque recitation of the table of elements, linked together with Lehrer’s own inimitable concert patter.

Directed by Michael Fontaine / Musical Direction by Stuart Rabinowitsch.

Recently disbanded, The EDLOS was formed in 1989 when a group of four classically trained singers got together to explore a broad range of music and musical styles. The quartet took a musical journey from early Gregorian chant to bluegrass and country, Motown to Rock 'n' Roll and Broadway, with an impressive corpus of original arrangements and compositions that span an extensive array of musical styles. For the past 20 years The EDLOS performed continuously at festivals and concert halls throughout North America. Their concert appearances took them to almost every state in the United States.Eric Morris has soloed with the San Francisco Symphony, the San Francisco Ballet, Marin Opera, Canada Opera Piccola and many others. A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Eric has specialized in contemporary music as well, singing many pieces by Benjamin Britten, John Cage, Aaron Kernis, Charles Wuorinen and Igor Stravinsky. Eric is a faculty member at Notre Dame de Namur University.
