Transcendence Theatre Company will conclude their 2017 season of spectacular outdoor Broadway concerts in Sonoma Wine Country with a special Gala Celebration at Jack London Stare Historic Park running September 8-10. Transcendence Theatre Company was named by USA Today's 10BEST as the #2 "Outdoor Concert Venue You Shouldn't Miss" in the United States, and received four 2016 Broadway World San Francisco awards including Best Special Theater Event for the fifth consecutive year. At the conclusion of this season, Transcendence performances will have been seen by over 110,000 people and will have raised over $351,000 to benefit Jack London State Historic Park.

"We'll end our memorable 2017 Broadway Under the Stars season with an intimate twist on our audience's favorite performance of the summer," explains Transcendence Artistic Director, Amy Miller. "This bold musical experience explores the connections of humanity and music featuring some of Transcendence's all time favorite performers returning to the stage. We look forward to celebrating the end of summer as we honor community and life in our most intimate and engaging concert to date."

The climax of the Transcendence season, the Gala Celebration is a performance featuring an exciting mix of Broadway and popular music, enhanced with community tributes and reflections. The Gala is also the culmination of their season-long raffle, the main annual fundraiser for Transcendence Theatre Company

The performers scheduled to appear in the Gala Celebration include Amy Miller, Brad Surosky, Colin Campbell McAdoo, Courtney Markowitz, Desiree Davar, Evan Ruggiero, Felicia Finley, Jessica Lee Coffman, Joey Khoury, Julie Craig, Leslie McDonel, Meggie Cansler, Nicolas Dromard, and Stephan Stubbins.

Transcendence's Broadway Under the Stars, now in its 6th season, is an award-winning series of spectacular outdoor Broadway-inspired concerts featuring performers from New York and Los Angeles-artists who often come to the Sonoma stage directly from recent Broadway appearances. More than a standard musical revue, each show weaves well-known Broadway and popular songs into a spectacular themed performance in the open-air 150-year-old Winery Ruins at Jack London State Historic Park.

All events begin with picnicking amongst the vineyards of Jack London's historic Beauty Ranch meadow- including gourmet food truck fare, an assortment of local wineries pouring, and pre-show music - casting a magical spell of communal festivity and summer celebration. Sunset heralds the start of the show and the stage begins to sparkle as dusk descends and the Broadway stars sing and dance under a starlit nighttime sky.
