Texas Talent Musicians Association and Coben Entertainment presents The 31st Annual Tejano Music Awards set for Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 7pm , in the San Antonio Event Center.

Produced by the Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) since 1980, theTejano Music Awards or TMAs, as they're known, is the only awards show to honor Tejano musicians.

Hosting the 31st Annual Tejano Music Awards comedian Cleto Rodriguez and "VAMOS" TV host Vanessa Macias. Artists scheduled to perform include: Jimmy Gonzalez Y Grupo Mazz, David Lee Garza y Los Musicales, Jay Perez, The Hometown Boys, Ricardo Castillon y La Differenzia, Gary Hobbs, Raulito Navaira and Joe Bravo and Tejano Music Divas Shelly Lares and coming off her first Latin Grammy, winner Elida Reyna y Avante.

This year the TTMA is turning back the clock to the shows format of the 1990's by bringing back the awards show dance that will feature many of the already scheduled artists as well as some surprise appearances. "We feel with the new venue it only made sense to bring back the dance for all to enjoy", said Frank Salazar, TTMA Vice-President.

The 2011 Top five Nominees include Bobby Pulido, Elida Reyna Y Avante , Shelly Lares, Stefani Montiel, Patsy Torres, Monica Castro, Michael Salgado, Jay Perez, Gary Hobbs, Jesse Turner, Jimmy Gonzalez, AJ Castillo , Carlos Y Los Cachorros, The Hometown Boys, Artie V, Betty Barajas , Badd Boyz Del Valle ,Jessica Baeza ,Retono Ilyssa Saenz.

An incredible red carpet ceremony will be held prior to the awards show featuring many Tejano artists and special guest Miss San Antonio, Gabriel Zavala from Tejano y Mas , Veronica Y Avance, A T Boyz and many more starting at 5:30 pm at the San Antonio Event Center.
