Pioneer Theatre Company, in collaboration with the Utah State Bar and the S.J. Quinney College of Law, will present a special performance of the explosive courtroom drama A Few Good Men along with a pre-show CLE program for two hours of CLE credit in Professionalism and Civility. The event will be held January 23, 2014 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Lawyers attending the event are eligible to receive a one credit hour for attending the pre-show program, examining how, in representing clients, the truth is often elusive or at least multifaceted. An additional credit hour is provided by attending PTC's production of A Few Good Men immediately afterwards, for a total of two CLE hours.

The panel moderator for the pre-show CLE is James R. Holbrook, Clinical Professor at the S.J. Quinney College of Law. Professor Holbrook will be joined by panelists George Haley of Holland & Hart LLP; Lyn Creswell, Colonel, United States Marine Corps, Retired and City Attorney for South Salt Lake City; Linda F. Smith, Professor of Law and Clinical Program Director at the S.J. Quinney School of Law; and Justin Knell, a Marine veteran and student at the law school.

Lawyers and non-lawyers alike are encouraged to attend the pre-show program, which is designed to provide the audience with entertaining insights into the characters and conflicts within the play A Few Good Men.
