Marvel Super Heroes: Avengers Assemble, described as an entertaining (and educational) adventure for pint-sized super hero fans, hits the Park City spotlight on Saturday, March 9. Shows are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

"All of the comic book favorites are headed to The Eccles stage. There really isn't a better place for super powers to unite - and, of course, save the day," says Teri Orr, executive director of Park City Performing Arts Foundation.

The show begins as a presentation about recognizing emergencies and safety procedures, but the orderly chat quickly derails when the Green Goblin steals Iron Man's mind controlling device. When the Hulk finds himself under the Green Goblin's control, mayhem ensues. Action, laughter and a few, kid-friendly lessons take center stage. And, in the end, justice prevails.

Children, and their grown-up side-kicks, are welcome to dress up in their own super hero outfits.
