Set in a Brooklyn Firehouse, this powerful play brings to light a respect for and awareness of firefighters; humanizing the heroes, that we might appreciate the invisible struggles of their lives and the disruption of order in the firehouse spurred on by cutbacks and politics.

Believing this will be one of the most powerful plays you will witness this year, the Woodstock Playhouse is proud to present 'Cherry's Patch' which made its debut at the Soho Playhouse in 2006. A portion of the proceeds will be given to the support of local firefighters and their families in our community.

The story: When a cowardly lieutenant causes a heroic captain's death, the firefighters in the company's firehouse decide to deal out justice themselves.

The playwright, Ron Scott Stevens is known in boxing circles as the former Chairman of the New York State Athletic Commission.

We invite you to join us for 'Cherry's Patch' as it comes to the stage of the iconic Woodstock Playhouse featuring the Woodstock Playhouse Summer Theatre Cast 2016, regional company widely known for some of the finest performances in our NY & tri-state region.

"The truth of life, of nurture, neglect and bravery...all these shall never be forgotten."

CHERRY's PATCH runs JULY 29 - 31. For more information and tickets go to: http://www.woodstockplayhouse.org/ or call 845-679-6900.
