Actor Jonathan Groff, star of HBO series Looking, gushes in this short video about "Arts in the Woods", an arts camp that serves homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth. After Jonathan speaks, the video shows many beautiful and touching moments from last year's camp including interviews with some of the campers and staff. In his talk, Jonathan requests for people to support the camp (happening July 13 - 18th) by making donations to its Indiegogo campaign.

His support for Arts in the Woods is a beautiful display of openly gay celebrities using their fame to help bring attention to important causes. Check out Groff's video!

Nestled in the rolling hills of upstate New York, Arts in The Woods is a summer arts retreat designed to give homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth an opportunity to escape the challenges they face living in the city, and experience the healing power of the arts. From Sunday July 13th to Friday July 18th, young people ages 18-24 will participate in workshops including theater, visual art, music, dance and writing, where they will acquire skill to express their unique queer stories. The young people will create a safe space together where friendships are formed and community is built. This camp is a life-transforming experience for the young people who attend it.

Jonathan Groff is an American actor and singer.
