Theatre Vertigo presents The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents by Lukas Barfuss, translated by Neil Blackadder and directed by Bobby Bermea. The show runs now through February 14, 2015. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

For several years, Dora has been heavily medicated to treat erratic, disruptive behavior. Now the girl has become a woman and her mother is eager to discover who her daughter has become. But when Dora's parents release her from her tranquilizers, they're not prepared for her potent sexual awakening. In this dark comedy of manners, Dora's naivety and curiosity expose the hypocrisies and manipulations of those around her. As Dora's explorations become increasingly uncomfortable for her parents, doctor, boss, and lover, she unwittingly reveals many of the ethical complexities that define modern sexuality.

The show runs Thursday - Saturday Eves at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. All performances take place at The Shoebox Theater, 2110 SE 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97214. Tickets: $20. Thursdays are Pay-What-You-Will. For reservations, visit www.theatrevertigo.org, call 503-306-0870 or email vertigo@theatrevertigo.org.
