Broadway veteran Justin Brill, in Portland with the National Tour of Wicked, will conduct a musical theatre master class at Lakewood Theatre Company on Wednesday, March 28, 11:00 AM. Mr. Brill will focus on singing technique, song selection, acting within a song and honing musical theatre audition technique. The master class is geared to actors interested in auditioning for productions, competitions, professional training and college or conservatory programs.
Mr. Brill, who currently plays the role of Boq in Wicked, is a graduate of the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama where he was the recipient of Charles Willard Award for excellence in Musical Theatre. We suggest that you set your music in a three ring binder for the accompanist. If you prefer to bring your own accompanist, you may. You may not sing a cappella. You may not accompany yourself. No recorded music will be allowed.
