Manila, Philippines--MiG Ayesa and Tanya Manalang will headline "Curtains Up!" a concert produced by Resorts World Manila (RWM) and Ultimate Shows Inc., at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City tomorrow, July 14, at 8 p.m. The artists will be accompanied by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Rodel Colmenar.

MiG made his Broadway debut in "Burn The Floor" (2010) and starred as Stacee Jaxx in "Rock of Ages" (2011). Tanya, on the other hand, starred as Kim--alternating with Eva Noblezada--in the London revival of "Miss Saigon" (2014-16); She currently stars in Philippine Educational Theater Association's (PETA) smash musical "Rak of Aegis," which features the popular songs of the local rock band Aegis.

MiG's other theater credits include "We Will Rock You," "The Bridges of Madison County," "Thriller Live," and "Annie." Tanya has "The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe," "In The Heights," "KAOS," "The Sound of Music," and "The King and I."

MiG shares his thoughts of Tanya, "She's super talented. She's so young but she knows what she wants. She has a very definite way of expressing herself.

"She's a huge talent to watch for."

Tanya on MiG: "He's so down to earth. And he's so funny. He has a lot of ideas, a very artistic mind."

Both are excited to do this concert. Tanya, in particular, is thrilled to be performing a song from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cats," which is returning to Broadway this summer. After seeing Nicole Scherzinger sang "Memory" from "Cats" at the 2015 Laurence Olivier Awards, Tanya has been eager to do her own version of the popular song.

"Doing song numbers with Tanya, like those from 'Les Miserables,' 'Miss Saigon,' and other theater songs that I didn't get the chance to do, in a way, I feel like I'm doing those shows with her," MiG said.

After her stint in "Miss Saigon," Tanya has opted to come home to the Philippines to rejoin her family and loved ones. She'll stay here indefinitely.

While here, she's open to doing projects with RWM. "Hopefully, if there are good roles, I'd love to do it here. After all, RWM is close to my heart. This is where I started and it paved the way for me to land a role in 'Miss Saigon'," she said.

MiG, on the other hand, is currently promoting his latest solo album, "More Than Ever."

He also does gigs with the vocal group Tenors of Rock as the band's stand-in.

Checking in with Tony winner Lea Salonga, who is the special guest performer in MiG and Tanya's concert, she said, "They're both good at what they do."

The concert "Curtains Up!" is based on the concept and will be directed by Freddie Santos.
