The Players Club of Swarthmore presents Absolution, a new play by Dave Ebersole of Lansdowne, in a staged reading directed by Penny L. Beene. There will be two performances only: Jan. 2, 2016 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 3 at 2 p.m.

Ric and Clay are the "clean-up crew" for the mob. They don't make the dead bodies, they just dispose of them. But when Clay is outed as an FBI informant, it's up to Ric to make his partner disappear. That's a problem for Ric, because he loves Clay like a son. The solution? Before he does his partner in, he's going to give him something he's never had before. Enter the woman of Clay's dreams: Immaculata. She's charming, she's goofy, and she just might save them all. The World Premiere of a new play by a Players Club regular.

Admission $5 at the door (no advance sales) The production is in the Players Club's Second Stage space which is not handicapped-accessible.
