The State Theatre Center for the Arts will be celebrating 90 Years of Wow for the 2016-17 Season and is proud to unveil a new logo, created by Kennan-Nagle Advertising, and a new community partnership with the Jaindl Companies & A-Treat soda.

90 YEARS OF WOW

The new logo was created to honor 90 years of outstanding entertainment presented by the historic State Theatre in Easton, PA. The non-profit State Theatre opened on the vaudeville circuit in 1926 and has been providing entertainment ever since.

"Graphically, the design echoes the theatre's Beaux-Arts style façade," comments Mike Keenan, President of Kennan-Nagle. "Above the marquee are three beautiful crown windows with keystone arches. Verbally, they just seemed to speak that three-letter exclamation of big wonder and astonishment-WOW."

The State Theatre has hosted some of the greatest acts in entertainment history, from Bing Crosby to Milton Berle, Dave Matthews to Ringo Starr, Bea Arthur to Ellen DeGeneres. Once a vaudeville stop for acts working their way up, the State and has never forgotten its "Broadway" roots, as it continues to present national touring tours of Broadway musicals every season.

Kennan adds, "That's what has been happening inside those State Theatre walls for the past 90 years...hopefully for the next 90 as well."

Keenan-Nagle Advertising, Inc. is a strategic marketing and creative design services firm comprised of 14 professionals headquartered in Allentown, PA and online at keenannagle.com. In continuous operation for commercial, professional and community organizations since 1954, Keenan-Nagle is the Lehigh Valley's longest-serving advertising agency.

Starting this season, patrons can now enjoy locally produced A-Treat sodas and Jaindl Turkey Jerky at State Theatre concession stands.

"It is wonderful to connect two iconic brands, The State Theatre and A-Treat, in our historic venue," says Shelley Brown, President & CEO of the State Theatre. "We are so excited to add these memorable flavors to our patrons' experience here. Just seeing the cans makes me smile. David Jaindl brought this product back by popular demand, just as we bring beloved artists here to the State. We look forward to a great, fun future together".

The Allentown, PA-based soda brand was founded in 1918 by Joseph and Jack Egizio using the finest traditional ingredients available that devotees have counted on for close to 100 years. Recently acquired by the Jaindl Companies, the iconic A-Treat hit the market in early fall, still produced according to formulas that evolved from Egizio family recipes
