Bob Egan's New Hope presents a Saturday evening bill of comedy that will bring two nationally renowned comedians to Bucks County for two special shows.

Sharon McNight, the bawdy modern answer to comic legend Sophie Tucker, returns to New Hope with her outrageous show "Songs to Offend Almost Everyone" at 8:30 pm on Saturday, May 14th. Major comedian JUDY GOLD will follow her with a separate show at 10:30 pm.

Chock full of first amendment rabble-rousers, McNight's "Songs to Offend Almost Everyone" is a throwback to party records of the 1950s and is designed to offend people "with good taste" of almost every persuasion. When the show was well received in its San Francisco and Los Angeles premieres, McNight recorded her politically incorrect tunes for Jezebel Music in two CDs.

McNight was awarded twice by Bay Area Critics as Best Actress for her performance in "Hello Dolly" and "Nunsense." Her other awards include a MAC, Bistro, Golden Gull, 5 Cabaret Golds, 3 Cable Cars, and a Nightlife from New York critics for Best Musical Comedy - "Ladies, Compose Yourselves!" Sharon has appeared in film and on television, most recently on the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana." Of her many accomplishments, McNight is most proud of her funding raising work on behalf of AIDS charities.

Sharon was listed in a NiteLifeExchange.com exclusive as one of the 50 most influential people in Cabaret for 2010. More on Sharon at: www.sharonmcnight.com
