Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

May 26-June 7

Lyrics by Tim Rice

Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber

A Musical Dream Come True!

This colorful retelling of the story of Joseph, his coat of many colors and his amazing ability to interpret dreams is a musicAl Blockbuster of Biblical proportions!  Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s award-winning musical parable features a delightful array of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, entertaining young and old alike with such hits as “Go Go Go Joseph,” “Close Every Door” and “Any Dream Will Do.”

Legally Blonde The Musical

June 9-14

Book by Heather Hach

Music and Lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin

It's here, and it's “AN ELLE OF A SHOW”

(TIME magazine)

The hilarious MGM film is Broadway's new smash hit musical, and now Legally Blonde The Musical is coming to you. Legally Blonde follows sorority star Elle Woods, an underestimated blonde who doesn't take “no” for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more “serious,” Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. After turning Broadway and MTV hot pink, this “Feel-Good Song and Dance Juggernaut” (New York Magazine) is “The Best New Musical Around!” (WOR)

Swing!

June 20-26

Original Concept by Paul Kelly

Original Direction and Choreography by Lynne Taylor-Corbett

Jump, Jive and Wail!

Featuring the unforgettable sounds of the 1930s and 40s including The Glenn Miller Band, the Andrews Sisters and Duke Ellington, Swing! is a feel-good celebration of the best of the Big Bands! Mix a little Lindy Hop, with a bit of the jitterbug and a whole lot of swing and one thing becomes perfectly clear — swing was never a time or place; it was always a state of mind! This infectious score features more than 30 dance hall hits including “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “I'll Be Seeing You,” “In the Mood” and “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got Swing).”

Les Misérables

July 7-19

Based on the novel by Victor Hugo

Book by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg

Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer

Music by Claude-Michel Schönberg

Original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel

Additional text by James Fenton

One of the world’s best-loved musicals!

A timeless story of revolution and love, Les Misérables has touched lives around the world with the powerful story of Jean Valjean and his life-long struggle for redemption. From the prisons and taverns of 19th Century France to the streets of Paris during the French revolution, this deeply moving musical brings to life Victor Hugo’s eternal message of compassion and hope. Set to a soaring and uplifting score, this emotionally-charged Tony® Award-winning blockbuster’s score will leave you breathless, with pop-opera classics such as “One Day More,” “Master of the House” and “Bring Him Home.”

Barry Manilow’s Copacabana

July 21-August 2

Book by Barry Manilow, Bruce Sussman and Jack Feldman

Lyrics by Bruce Sussman and Jack Feldman

Music by Barry Manilow

A love letter to the Technicolor® musicals of the 1940s!

Travel back in time with Lola, Tony and Rico when “music and passion were always in fashion.” Inspired by Barry Manilow’s Grammy® Award-winning hit song “Copacabana,” this old-fashioned musical weaves a seductive story of love, jealousy and murder as told through the eyes of an aspiring songwriter. Complete with splashy production numbers and an original Latin-inspired score, Barry Manilow’s Copacabana features more than a few surprises for even the biggest Barry Manilow fan.

Into the Woods

August 4-9

Book by James Lapine

Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim

A Wickedly Witty Musical!

Once Upon a Time, a Baker and his wife embarked on a quest to break a witch’s spell. On their journey “into the woods” they cross paths with Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Cinderella and a host of other hysterically flawed fairy tale characters. This fabulously fractured fable is a bewitching look at what happens after “happily ever after.” Stephen Sondheim's award-winning score casts a magical spell with such gems as “Children Will Listen,” “Giants in The Sky” and “No One Is Alone.”
