Inis Nua Theatre Company offers up a reprise of The Letter of Last Resort, our contribution to Tiny Dynamite's popular A Play, A Pie and A Pint. We call it our Second Helping! Thought-provoking and darkly funny, The Letter of Last Resort explores the surreal nature of nuclear deterrents. The new Prime Minister is required to write a letter that will go into a safe within a safe within a Trident submarine. She must envision a world beyond all imagination and then decide...yes or no? Playwright David Greig is the author of Inis Nua's Barrymore award winning Midsummer [a play with songs]. Claire Moyer directs Susan Giddings and Adam Rzepka in this intriguing tale based on real life protocol.

The Letter of Last Resort runs Tuesday through Thursday, May 19, 20, and 21 at Fergie's Pub, 1214 Sansom Street, Philadelphia. This short pub play is only $15 per ticket, and includes a beer (or soft drink) and choice of pie (meat or veggie), so it is a great early "night out". Doors open at 6:00pm (to get your pint and pie); show starts at 6:30pm.

For tickets, call (215) 454-9776 or visit inisnuatheatre.org. For more information, and to join the conversation, please like Inis Nua Theatre Company on Facebook and follow @InisNuaTheatre on Twitter.
