It's not your grandmother's bingo when The Cabaret Room of Doylestown hosts its first Gay Bingo night. A night of sequins, feathers and a little fur, the event will be hosted by New Hope's very own Dwayne Dunlevy, tonight, May 17, 2014 beginning at 6 pm. The evening will also feature a special visit by Shelly Poorman, distant cousin of Saturday Night Live character, Linda Richman.

Presented by Michael Moeller Productions and held at Doylestown's newest entertainment venue, Gay Bingo night promises fun for lovers of the game whether gay or straight. The night will highlight the amusing traditions of the game such as when"O-69" is called, players jump up, throw their hands up, do a little shimmy, and yell out the letter-number combination. Prizes and gift cards will be awarded for bingo winners and a portion of the proceeds will go to children with AIDS.

Dwayne Dunleavy is a New Hope entertainer who has hosted numerous regional events including the recent Academy Awards party at the famed Bucks County Playhouse. He has been seen at New Hope's Rrazz Room, the New Hope Winery and will debut his one-man show at The Cabaret Room in June. He is best known for his comedic shows "Insayne with Dwayne" and "Neurotica."
