Rock/blues/jam band Dancing Goats is celebrating Mother's Day on May 13 at 7:30 pm at the World Café Live. The band's performances feature "a mix of original music interspersed with versions of popular songs with a Dancing Goats twist - from funk to high energy. The eight-piece band is known for weaving from song to song, using spontaneous jams to bridge one song's mood into another, making each performance unique."

The "SilverSound Mother's Day Shakedown" is being produced by Silver Sound Productions and will also feature Kenny Curcio & The Done Deals, The Quixote Project, The Hyde, Joshua Popejoy, and Supreem & The New Experience. The door opens at 5. World Café Live is located at 3025 Walnut Street in Philadelphia. Tickets are $12.

Dancing Goats will be soon releasing it new CD called "Songs for Everyone." The CD includes songs with many influences - blues, rock, country, reggae, jazz, and more. Two songs from the CD were released by jam band magazine Relix – "Whatever It Is" in March and "Frustration" this coming May.

Dancing Goats has had numerous appearances at the world famous Bitter End as well as playing Mercury Lounge in New York City; Asbury Park, New Jersey favorite the Wonder Bar; as well as numerous festivals and fund raising events throughout the North East. Coming up June 21st, the band headlines a concert at Battery Park, 5-7 PM in NYC as part of the Make Music New York Music Festival.
