A man struggles to understand his reality. He sits alone in a room assailed by the world around him. He does not know how to act, nor what impact his actions could possibly have. When he is faced with a situation that forces him to respond, what will it reveal? Probably nothing.

Resplendence, from multi-award winning playwright Angus Cerini (The Bleeding Tree), is an expressionistic response to the world in which we live, and the very nature of existence= powerful, nonsensical and beyond our control.

Red Line Productions in association with the Ringwood Players present the Sydney premiere of Resplendence, following a critically acclaimed season as part of the 2014 NEON festival at the Melbourne Theatre Company.

Directed by AACTA award nominee Nathan Lovejoy (Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane, The Code, Deep Water, Clybourne Park) and featuring multiple Green Room nominee James O'Connell (Savages, Detroit, Hacksaw Ridge, The Secret River) this all-new production of Cerini's Victorian Premier's Literary Award winning play is one not to be missed.
