This week on GLEE, Mercedes(Amber Riley), Sam(Chord Overstreet), and the rest of the cast will be singing one of the most famous high school songs of all time: 'Summer Nights' from GREASE.

Today in 1940, Pal oey opened at Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Pal Joey is a musical with a book by John O'Hara (from his novel of the same title) and music and lyrics by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart based on a character and situations O'Hara created in a series of short stories published in The New Yorker. It includes two songs that have become standards: 'I Could Write a Book' and 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered'.

Last week, the Lincoln Center Production of Jon Robin Baitz's critically acclaimed new play OTHER DESERT CITIES directed by Joe Mantello opened at the Booth Theatre. Performances began October 12 at 8 pm at the Booth Theatre for Jon Robin Baitz's critically acclaimed new play OTHER DESERT CITIES directed by Joe Mantello. This Lincoln Center Theater production features Stockard Channing, Rachel Griffiths, Stacy Keach, Judith Light and Thomas Sadoski.
